WASHINGTON — Inspector General Anthony P. D’Esposito is honored to serve on President Donald J. Trump’s Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, a government-wide initiative led by Vice President JD Vance to root out fraud, waste, and abuse across the federal government.
Established by executive order, the task force reflects President Trump’s commitment to protecting American taxpayers, restoring accountability in federal programs, and ensuring that those who steal from the public are identified, investigated, and brought to justice.
“I’m honored to stand with President Trump and Vice President Vance in this fight,” said Inspector General D’Esposito. “This is not business as usual. We are going on offense against fraud. We will track it, expose it, and shut it down.”
For too long, bad actors have exploited government programs and stolen billions from the American people. Inspector General D’Esposito will work alongside federal partners to strengthen investigations, dismantle fraud schemes, and deliver real accountability.
“Let this be a warning,” D’Esposito added. “If you are stealing from the American people, your time is up. We will find you. We will investigate you. And we will hold you accountable — fully and relentlessly.”
President Trump’s task force marks a renewed effort to defend taxpayer dollars, restore trust in government, and put America first.
