January 4, 2005: The
OIG issued a pamphlet that provides a brief overview of our
efforts to combat labor racketeering, entitled "The Evolution
of Labor Racketeering and Organized Crime Corruption." Click

December 20, 2004: The
OIG's FY 2004 Annual Report, which details our accomplishments,
has been posted. In FY 2004, the OIG identified $23.5 million
in questioned costs and $15 million in other audit monetary
recommendations. In addition, we closed 447 investigations,
achieved 529 indictments, 363 convictions, and nearly $162
million in investigative monetary accomplishments. Click
